Sunlight bleeds through the curtains of this room at Holt's Hotel, and what is seen in the light of the day is the reminants of twilight's deeds colored red.

On a bright, sunny morning three and a half centuries ago two bodies were found bludgeoned to death in their beds in this hotel. The victims were none other than the landlord and his lady. Unfortunate as it was, who was responsible for the crime was not a mystery.

The highwaymen, as they were called, were well known during this time in the eighteenth century; robbery and murder was their speciality. Their dirty deeds were legendary.

One particular highwayman was Claude Du Vall. He hailed from France, and was well known for his knack for theft and murder of hotel guests and visitors.

Eventually Du Vall was hanged for his crimes, but that hasn't seemed to stop him from coming around.

Claude Du Vall's spirit roams the halls of Holt's Hotel, and he is not alone. His victims are doomed to roam the site, reliving their dying moments.

No one knows what will occurr here when the daylight fades, and the lights go out.
